Thursday..March 8th..travels to Delchambre, Louisiana, New Iberia, Louisiana
and back to Lafayette for lunch.
Below are a few pictures taken today. These are huge metal pots that were used to boil sugar cane into syrup and are now used for water fountains.

The Island has a wonderful old house that is now a bed and breakfast.

Then I went to Delchambre, Louisiana..a tiny shrimper's village.
Some of the shrimpers were repairing their boats.
Then I did a tour of the Tabasco Factory on Avery Island in New Iberia, La.
